 Apple picking at Door Creek Orchard in Deerfield.  The rain held up just long enough for us to get our apples and get back in the car.

 Jack and Avery grooved to a free concert by local hip-hoppers, The Figureheads.  It was an awesome, kid-empowering show!

By the end of the show, this was one little hipper, who needed some rest from all that hoppin’.

Baby I’m Amazed

Our travels took us to Lodi, Wisconsin and the Treinen Farm Corn Maze.

 We mostly followed Avery through many acres of corn.

And tried to piece together the map clues that were spread about.

Ummm… how do we get out of here?  The maze was very difficult, and most of the time we had only a rough guess as to where we were.

The maze won.  We rested up and managed to escape the very challenging maze.
